Sunken grade is reported north of Port Orford near the intersection of the Cape Blanco Highway/Highway 250. Use caution in that area.
Curry County - Oregon - Construction is occurring in Wedderburn at mile post 327 to mile post 328. Use caution. This project will provide several repairs to the U.S. 101 Rogue River Bridge at the north end of Gold Beach. Construction is scheduled to be completed in November. Watch for intermittent weeknight single-lane closures on the bridge (7 p.m. to 7 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning). Motorists should expect nighttime delays up to 20 minutes. Flaggers will provide traffic control as needed. Nearby residents and businesses should expect noise due to saw-cutting and other construction.
Curry County - Oregon - Construction is occurring 12 miles south of Port Orford at mile post 312. Use caution. This project will rebuild the shoulder and stabilize the slope along the southbound lane using soil nails, long metal rods that are installed in the ground under the road to improve ground stability. Construction will require lane and shoulder closures. Watch for traffic control devices. Speed advisories will be in place during construction.
Coos County - Oregon - Road construction is occurring at mile post 234 through mile post 235. Use caution. This project will paint the steel truss section of McCullough Bridge, replace rivets, remove rust and repair damaged steel. Construction is scheduled for completion in fall 2021. Watch for intermittent nighttime (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) lane closures each Sunday night to Friday morning. Pedestrians should watch for intermittent sidewalk closures. At all times, at least one of the bridge’s sidewalks will remain open.
Lane County - Oregon - Road construction is occurring 2 miles south of Dunes City at mile post 196. Use caution. The contractor will be surveying and installing traffic control. Installation of a temporary traffic signal begins. It will be turned on in a few weeks and remain on for the majority of the project. Until the signal is turned on, expect flaggers with minimal delays of up to 20 minutes.
