Highway 230 Road Conditions - 4/5

Winter Driving Season has ended. Studded tires are illegal now through October 31st. Snow Zone laws are now over until November 1st. Meaning, you do not have to carry chains, or otherwise meet Snow Zone laws.

Impact to travel can be expected in construction zones, or where maintenance is happening. Always be looking out for workers and equipment at anytime.

Winter driving conditions can still develop over the passes. If you tow trailers, or have a vehicle over 10,000 pounds gvw....carrying chains is recommended when going through the Cascades through the end of May.
